  President Jimbo opened the meeting on time.

 

 Treasurer Sandy Announced our Flower Power sales of bulbs etc.

 We stand to make 50% of what we sell. Thanks to Sandy for coming up with this Great Small project that is easy to do.Turn in date 4/08 with delivery between 4/18-20. Thanks also to Joan for being the drop off point.

 

  Our Plant Sale Chairs Michelle and Margaret are off to a great start with flyers made and use of our website(thanks John) to order from. There will be a pickup on 5/9 at Spring Street in the afternoon with other pickups on 5/10 at Community Day.( The Community Day group was excited to see us advertising them on our poster.)

 

 Community Day update- The Race is at 9am/Parade 10am(we will be the "turkeys") with the event to follow. Many businesses have expressed an interest in this event.

 

  Sect Karen again urged all that make up to contact her with time place when and for what meeting so we can get to RI correct the first time.(her report is due on the 10th of each month

 

   Our guest speaker was Bob MacDonald RI District Chair for foundation.

 

 

    

Membership Note- Did you invite someone to visit and check out the World of Rotary?

 Attendence- Remember to be a Rotarian in good standing You must make at least 2 meetings per month.

 Apr 26th Raffia Road Day Booth/we will sell water bottles and promote Water Awareness

May 10th  EW Community Day -Parade Float and Booth (road race food face painting etc) exact times to come but probally 9-10 parade/11 booth (We will have our games and a Plant sale)

          

   Speakers Coming:    

         3/11   Tom Voorhees on ID Machine for Raffia Road Day/board meeting

       3/25 John Pica-Sneeden Chairman EW Board of Education

      4/01 Margaret Executive Director of Independent Transportation Network

        Many Dates are open for speakers from now till June/Do you know someone who would make agreat Rotarian but don't know how to get them to join/Ask them to come as speaker.
