This weeks tidbit-

 VP/President Elect David opened the meeting late as Prez Jimbo was off galavanting and arrived really late.

 Treasurer Sandy reported that the Power Flower monies are in and we should have by or around 4/18

  Our Plant Sale Chair Michelle & Margaret reported sales are good and to keep promoting/Press releases will be issued shortly.

 Our speakers were the Klocks(Sue to be president of fellow area 6 club East Hartford next year) They spoke of the highly successful shelterbox program and how it has aided several areas of disaster in the world.They also spoke how the "guts" of the box can be adapted to many areas of the world.

Membership Note- Did you invite someone to visit and check out the World of Rotary?

 Attendence- Remember to be a Rotarian in good standing You must make at least 2 meetings per month.

  Events Etc.

 May 10th  EW Community Day -Parade Float and Booth (road race food face painting etc) exact times to come but probally 9-10 parade/11 booth (We will have our games and a Plant sale)

June 24th Volunteer of the Year,Changing of Officers

   April 22 -Amber Alert /Board Meeting

        Many Dates are open for speakers /Do you know someone who would make agreat Rotarian but don't know how to get them to join/Ask them to come as speaker.
