   Prez Jimbo  opened on time on this night of lousy weather.(Eileen asked what we will do about nights when the weather is horrible. President jim announced that on bad nights a presidental pardon is in place and all who can't make it do not need to make up but must contact sect.Karen asap to update records.

  We had no speaker as this was a board meeting night but the discussion about the club attendence dues etc was had.

 Points brought out.

  1) You need make only 2 meetings a month (not 4 missed in a row ) and paid your dues(year or half year ) to be a rotarian in good standing.

 2) The club has asked the membership committee to follow up those that have missed. Membership chair Jimbo explained in his 23 years he has seen where things change and attendence has become a problem for a member at a weekly meeting. He urged any member with problems attending to contact him at 221 8821 so we can work on a solution which could be transfer to another club ,extended leave af abscence  with makeups etc. Chairman jimbo also suggested some members that joined have found this not be thier cup of tea. With an attendence report from Sect Karen showing the entire clubs attendence to be given/emailed  to him, he will be following up with those that have missed within the next two weeks per the Club Decision.

 3) If members are planning not to continue we must know be the Dec 31 to advoid billing for those members in June 2008.

    Attendence-Did You know that while Rotary meets every week that if You attend Twice a month You Are a Rotarian in Good Standing.

     Dec 10th- Community Fundraising committee meeting 6pm-Dave R's Office 1741 Ellington Road South Windsor -bring your ideas- All Members interested but can't attend this meeting get your ideas to Dave R so he can present that night to committee.
