   President Jimbo opened the meeting for one last time with our Flag on loan from the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce. Jim Steward said the invocation thus ended his "volunteering" who will volunteer this week.

     Treasurer Sandy spoke on Shop for a Cause Macy cards Monies or cards do back by 10/9 (next weeks meeting)

     Harvest for the Hungry a project started by EW Windsor Rotary to fill the local food pantry has asked to us join the other service groups,lions,vets.chamber in this month long canned food drive. Prez jimbo is working with EW Rotary Chr George St Geoges on this important Townwide Need.(if you would like to be a drop point contact jim at 221 8821 or email jim@eastwindsorchamber.com )

  Oct21st-EW Chamber of Commerce is holding the "East Windsor Business & Community EXPO' at the High School 12n-5pm.We have a free booth,games built and prize assets.what we don;t have is members to spend an hour or two running the games.

      Conrad Sienkeiwicz from Eclub spoke on its formation and members and how you can make up there without every leaving your office(takes ablut a 1.2 hour)

   50/50 we don't remember who won because Clark drew the Queen of hearts.

   Gala 07- At the time of writing this newsletter we had already held a Spectacular Gala with a Great Band. KUDOS to the Gala Committee and a Special Salute to Karen Owens for all her hard work!!

  The Silent Auction made about 548 extra dollars(good idea Jim&Kate)& 50/50 brought in an additional 300.

   We the Rotary Club of Broad Brook also presented Our Club Mentor Larry Ottoson

 (Rotarys Highest Award) for His hard work in forming our club.

 While the gala Committe will have the money breakdown for the evening this Tuesday here are the gifts presented by others to us:
